Spouses in the US (Adjustment of Status)

Spouse Visa (K3)

A US Citizen who has already married outside of the United States can come to the US on a Spouse visa, or a K-3 visa. Most people prefer this manner as the beneficiary is allowed to remain in the US for the duration of his/her adjustment process and also can skip backlogs at Consular Posts across the world. Fiancé visa

A US Citizen who would like to bring his/her fiancé to the US in order to be married can do so with the use of a K-1 or Fiancé visa.
